The GMI Keepsafe Gate 108" 9-ft. x 32" H extra wide gate is a wooden expanding pet gate that is recommended by many major kennel clubs over all others because the top is not solid and pets will not jump unless they see a "push off" point. It is a certified top-of-stairs-use accordion pet gate that easily latches and unlatches with one hand. The exclusive design prevents pinch points and securely attaches to the wall with simple hand tools.

It swings up to 270 degrees, according to how it is mounted, for convenient walk-thru ability and storage against the wall when not in use. It has a smooth middle support leg for easy gliding across floors while also preventing sagging. This gate also features a “Soft Touch Finger Latch” which allows you to easily open and close the gate with one hand.

only gate I found wide enough for our deck opening- quality poplar wood- stained with linseed oil- looks great
closure hardware difficult to use- top piece only
but strong enough- easy to install
great gate!

Closed off my front porch with 8’ opening

Stained it and used stained 2x4s anchored to brick columns so I could easily attach hardware that secures it on one one end with hinges and eye hooks on other end. It opens from the right as you enter the porch. Front entrance You can flip it but then the backside of the rivets will show on the outside. Luckily it worked out with pretty side out. If it’s outside Be sure to stain the hardware too as it will help prevent rusting if outside. Easy to open and close. No way to lock it. But it Keeps my 15 pound dogs contained to fenced in side yard entrance to porch while allowing them to use the front porch if it storms.

love this gate

This is wonderful! It's great quality, easy to install, and I love how easy it is to open and close. The only negative is the latch is tricky to open and if the gate is pushed on, it flexes away so may not be the best idea for a big dog.
